Create an account
Section titled “Create an account”- Open Garage+ and choose Create an account.
- Enter your name, your email address and a password of at least 10 characters, then confirm it.
- Garage+ sends you an email: the Check your email screen appears. Remember to check your spam folder.
The message shown is the same whether or not the address is already known: Garage+ never reveals whether an account exists.
Confirm your address
Section titled “Confirm your address”Click the link in the confirmation email. You are then signed in and can create your garage. Until the address is confirmed, signing in is refused with a message reminding you of this.
Sign in
Section titled “Sign in”There are two ways to sign in:
- With your password (default);
- With a link sent by email: choose “Sign in with a link sent by email”, enter your address, then click the link you receive. It is valid for 10 minutes and can only be used once.
If your account is protected by two-factor authentication, Garage+ then asks for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app (or a backup code). Signing in with a link is not available for these accounts.
Back to your garage when you sign in
Section titled “Back to your garage when you sign in”When you sign in again (password, link or two-factor code), Garage+ automatically opens one of your garages: the one you have been a member of most recently. Suspended garages are skipped. You can switch at any time from the garage name at the top left. If you are not a member of any active garage, Garage+ offers to create one.
Forgot your password
Section titled “Forgot your password”- On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot your password?.
- Enter your email address. If an account exists, an email containing a link valid for one hour is sent to you; the message shown is identical in all cases.
- Open the link and choose a new password (at least 10 characters). Your other devices are signed out.
If the link has expired or has already been used, simply request a new one.
Temporary lockout
Section titled “Temporary lockout”After several failed sign-in attempts (5 incorrect passwords in a row), signing in is blocked for a short time: first one minute, then longer and longer if there are further failures. Wait for the indicated delay to end or use “Forgot your password?”. A successful sign-in resets the counter.
Suspended account
Section titled “Suspended account”If your account has been suspended, signing in shows a message asking you to contact Garage+ support.
