Dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen of Garage+ (Dashboard entry in the menu). It gathers what needs your attention today and updates itself when a colleague changes a file: no need to reload the page.
Key figures
Section titled “Key figures”At the top of the screen, tiles show the current counts: Receptions, Open repair orders, To invoice, Quotes, Parts to reorder and Prices to review. Each tile leads to the matching list (tab of the Work orders list, stock, prices to review). Alert tiles (parts to reorder, prices to review) turn red as soon as they are not zero.
Blocks to handle
Section titled “Blocks to handle”- Today: today’s appointments; See all opens the planning.
- Done, to invoice, Quotes awaiting an answer and Waiting for parts: the files concerned, each opening its record.
- Stock: the parts below their alert threshold, with the quantity in stock.
- Qualifications to renew (with the permission to manage workers, and only when there are some): the active workers’ qualifications that have expired or expire within 30 days, each opening the worker’s record (see Workers).
An empty block says so (“Nothing to invoice.”, “No appointment today.”…).
Payments and cash drawer
Section titled “Payments and cash drawer”With built-in invoicing, three blocks sum up the garage’s money. Collected today and Unpaid lead to the Payments and invoices to collect page, Cash drawer to the cash book.
- Collected today: the total collected today, by payment method. It follows the same rule as the daily closure and its Z report: payments received today (refunds deducted), minus the cancellations made today.
- Cash drawer: the theoretical cash balance, then the last count with its discrepancy (“+” for a surplus, “−” for a shortfall, in red when it is not zero).
- Unpaid: the total amount due, split by how late it is (0 to 30 days, 31 to 60 days, over 60 days; an invoice not yet due counts in the first bracket), then the five oldest invoices, each opening its job if you can see work orders. The client’s name only shows with the permission to see clients.
Without the Payments and cash register feature (Features), these blocks do not appear. A garage that invoices with other software does not see them either. Revenue will show with the accounting export.
Who sees what
Section titled “Who sees what”Each member only sees the blocks their role allows: work orders, planning, stock, catalog prices, payments (Collected today and Unpaid), cash drawer (Cash drawer). A member with none of these permissions sees the home screen without figures.
