Appearance and language
Garage+ is displayed in French by default; English is available.
Three choices are offered:
- Light;
- Dark, easier on the eyes in a dimly lit workshop;
- System (default): Garage+ follows your device setting.
The theme is applied as soon as the page is displayed, without flicker.
Language
Section titled “Language”The language choice applies to all screens and to error messages.
Splash screen
Section titled “Splash screen”When the application opens, Garage+ shows its logo for 2 seconds at most. To stop seeing it, untick Splash screen on start in the account menu (your name, at the bottom of the left menu); the choice applies the next time you open the application. The splash screen blocks nothing: you can already click while it fades away.
What is remembered
Section titled “What is remembered”Your choices are kept in small browser files (cookies): gp_theme, gp_locale, gp_nav (collapsed menu), gp_splash (splash screen turned off) and gp_planning (schedule view, collapsed column, shortcuts, hidden workers and resources, by technical identifier and without names), valid for one year. They are strictly necessary for the application to work: they are not used for any tracking and contain no personal data.
Error messages
Section titled “Error messages”When an action fails, Garage+ shows a clear message in your language (for example: “The garage must keep at least one administrator.”). If the message does not help you, contact Garage+ support.
